Green & Co promotes a safer school run in Sutton Coldfield and Castle Bromwich

Green & Co has helped make school children in Sutton Coldfield and Castle Bromwich safer after donating special reflective armbands to help them be seen on the journey to and from school.
The regional estate agent, which has a branch on Chester Road in Castle Bromwich, has supplied children at Timberley Academy and Guardian Angels Catholic Primary School with the high visibility kit as part of Road Safety Week, an annual awareness campaign organised by road safety charity Brake. The company has also donated armbands to the children at Mere Green Primary School which is directly opposite the Green & Co Four Oaks branch on Mere Green Road in Sutton Coldfield.
Chris Green, director at Green & Co, said: “Road Safety Week aims to get local communities, schools and organisations together to increase awareness of the loss of life on our roads and look at the steps that can be taken to improve road safety in their area.
“As a local business it is really important to Green & Co to help contribute towards keeping the area in which we all live and work safe. We hope that the children enjoy wearing these armbands and that it helps to reinforce the importance of being visible to motorists on these dark mornings and evenings. And we hope it reminds us all to watch our speed on our local roads - particularly around schools.”
