Sutton claims Green & Co branch of the year
Wed 03 Jun 2015
After a bumper 12 months and some record-breaking figures, Green & Co’s hotly contested branch of the year title has been awarded to Sutton Coldfield.
The team at Sutton listed 238 new instructions in the last 12 months, took 272 offers and agreed sales on 236 properties subject to contract. This is the second year running that the Sutton team have claimed the Green & Co crown.
Jacquie Harvey, senior branch manager at the Sutton Coldfield sales office, said: “We’re absolutely elated to win the Green & Co branch of the year title again this year. It’s a real team effort here and we do our very best for each of our clients, working proactively to match new instructions with waiting buyers from across the Green & Co network.”
Among the many successes the Sutton team has enjoyed this year was helping one vendor to sell their home in record time, counting just seven working days between the offer being accepted and the new owner moving in to a property on Carhampton Road.
Chris Green, director at Green & Co, said: “We have expert teams in all our branches, but we do like to encourage a little bit of friendly competition!
“The Sutton team really deserve the title this year. Their success is an overall team effort from initial market appraisal, through viewings and negotiation of offers – and of course continued support once an offer has been accepted.
“At Green & Co we combine traditional sales methods with modern digital marketing and property matching via email and text as well as the UK’s two largest property portals; Rightmove and Zoopla.
“Across the Green & Co network over the last 12 months, we’ve instructed to market 1,737 properties and secured 2,269 offers. All sales are progressed in-branch by our managers and many of our buyers and sellers use one of our approved firms of solicitors on the conveyancing, which makes the process much smoother.
“With the market buoyant at the moment and trends looking promising for the year, we’re looking forward to another successful year for Green and Co - and the competition to take Branch of the Year title for 2016 has already begun.”
