After the Easter break, activity picked back up, and buyer demand returned. Our teams registered 294 potential buyers, booked 296 viewings and received 73 offers.   Seller activity also increased, which is great to see and based on the fact we booked 67 sales valuations, this would suggest that new instructions to the market will be strong this month.   Many new instructions are selling quickly so if you are thinking of selling, please call us on 0121 296 1400 and we would be more than happy to discuss and assist you....

On Monday of this week, lockdown restrictions eased, the sun came out, the beer gardens were packed, and incoming calls reduced! On Tuesday, activity returned to normal and remained consistent throughout the remainder of the week ?Although the majority of homes are selling quickly, we are finding, via software that we use, that many homes have remained unsold for a good number of weeks. It was another busy week with many new instructions generating multiple viewing requests and multiple offers. In total, we registered 295 new potential buyers, booked 360 viewings and received 96 offers.   All property types are generating interest, and there remains a shortage of properties coming to the market. Once again, activity held up well over the week. We registered 304 applicants, booked 365 viewings and received 98 offers. Many property types are selling quickly, and in some cases, multiple viewings are arranged, multiple offers are received, and selling for in excess of their asking prices.   Overall, April was a busy month with front end activity buoyant. After a very successful March, we expected completions to continue at a similar rate, but unfortunately, the conveyancing process remains slow. Following the bank holiday, we re-opened to a high level of enquiries from multiple buyers for all property types, which continued throughout the week. New instructions to the market and sales valuations were also strong, which is great to see and just what we need in this buoyant market. This week we registered 281 potential buyers, booked 306 viewings and received 98 offers.
