Green & Company is celebrating 25 years of business this month – and we estimate we have sold around 25,000 local homes in that time.
Green & Company, which employs close to 100 people across ten offices in Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Castle Bromwich, Great Barr and Erdington, was founded in 1992 by Chris Green, who remains a director today.
Staff and customers enjoyed a celebratory birthday cake this week to mark the occasion, toasting two and a half decades of supporting local people to buy, sell, rent and let their properties. And after the launch of a new look logo, signage and office refurbishments in recent months, we are selling more homes than ever.
Chris Green said: “It’s difficult for any independent business to stay competitive for 25 years but in property, where things move forward so quickly, it is an even greater achievement.
“We’ve been through recessions, property booms, numerous Prime Ministers and six World Cups – and I’m proud to say we’re still going strong thanks to our fantastic team of staff and our wonderful customers who continue to use our service.
“We’ve been an active member of community in that time, supporting sports clubs, schools, local festivals, award ceremonies and more. In fact, very few businesses have as much contact with the entire community as a local estate agency and we’re proud to have helped so many people over the years.
“Estate agents don’t always get the best of reputations but there is no substitute for local insight and a personal service from an independent company – and our performance as we enter our 26th year shows that.”
