It has been a busy week for big announcements! What with the budget, the Bank of England announced an interest cut to just .25% and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors advised: "Sales in February grew, for the third consecutive month". They also went on to say that the West Midlands saw the "biggest bump in new properties coming onto the market."
In most circumstances, this would be positive news. However, the Coronavirus is on most people's minds at the moment. As I write, we haven't seen any downturn. Understandably people are concerned, but they are carrying on as usual, albeit taking more precautions. As a business, we are also taking precautions to protect our staff and clients, and we will continue to play an active role in the local property market.
We are still carrying out valuations and still urgently need more homes to offer to the high number of buyers that are registering with us. Despite everything, if you are looking to sell to buy a more expensive property now really is a great time to instruct Green and Company to sell your home.
