Following the bank holiday, we re-opened to a high level of enquiries from multiple buyers for all property types, which continued throughout the week. New instructions to the market and sales valuations were also strong, which is great to see and just what we need in this buoyant market. This week we registered 281 potential buyers, booked 306 viewings and received 98 offers. There is an increasing level of properties receiving multiple offers, which then sell for more than the original marketing price. If you have a property that you are thinking of selling, please call us on 0121 296 1400.
On the other side, exchanges and completions have slowed down, which is a concern as we move closer to the first of two stamp duty deadlines. As ever, we advise you to keep in regular contact with your agent, mortgage adviser and conveyancer, reply to any enquiries, answer any questions and provide any information promptly. The local conveyancers that we work with are working flat out to ensure as many of their clients meeting the deadlines but as often is the case, there are multiple factors, third parties that can and do create complications.
