The final week of the month proved to be incredibly busy. With the restrictions beginning to lift and warmer weather, there was a great deal of positivity surrounding Sutton Coldfield's streets.
In March, property completions increased by 44% compared to February as sales agreed from many months ago finally began to complete contracts. Activity overall was staggering compared to February, with booked sales valuations increasing by 41%, applicants registered increased by 31%, viewings booked increased by 32% and offers received increased by 16%.
The majority of new instructions to market are selling (STC) relatively quickly, but they need to be priced within the current market. Based on data we can see via one of our software partners, we can see many properties advertised for weeks on end. A case in point is the following three properties, Enstone Road, Stephens Road and Ansell Road, that had all been on the market for weeks with another estate agent, but we sold them within days of receiving instructions to sell them.
