Once again, activity held up well over the week. We registered 304 applicants, booked 365 viewings and received 98 offers. Many property types are selling quickly, and in some cases, multiple viewings are arranged, multiple offers are received, and selling for in excess of their asking prices.
Overall, April was a busy month with front end activity buoyant. After a very successful March, we expected completions to continue at a similar rate, but unfortunately, the conveyancing process remains slow. If you have sold, subject to contract, our advice remains the same. Keep in touch with your agent and conveyancer, return paperwork promptly and, if applicable, apply for your mortgage immediately after agreeing to a sale.
New instructions to the market were good but below buyer demand. If you are thinking of selling, please call us as we urgently need more homes to sell.
