Following the announcement by the Chancellor regarding the changes to Stamp Duty this week Rightmove reported a 22% uplift in traffic within the first half an hour! They went on to say that people enquiring about properties under £500,000 on Rightmove makes up 84% of all buyer enquiries in England. Within the West Midlands, the current average asking price is £238,123, which means that the average stamp duty saving within our area will be £2,262. Locally activity remains very positive...
