There has been an enormous surge in demand in the Midlands, according to Rightmove. This week has seen a significant increase in enquiries ranging from market appraisals and viewing requests to mortgage appointment enquiries. Market appraisals enquiries alone increased by 246% and buyers registering increased by 188% compared to the week before. On Monday the Government issued guidance regarding the road ahead. It was clear that estate agency fell in the "non-essential retail" category which meant we would not be able to open our offices until at least the 1st of June. However, on Tuesday evening the media announced that Estate Agents would be able to open from Wednesday!
